Our Collection!
If “Your community, your choice” = true, then “Our community, our collection” = need to do!
It’s simple logics!

I started a collection in mid-November 2008 that I dream of us to continue together. It is called Great Photojournalism. You can see it at: [link]

Together we will raise community spirit and community will within Photojournalism. Together we will make the best photojournalism collection ever and with that we will honour the great photojournalists in dA and make them feel proud and appreciated!
Or… if not, at least we can try!

Note me with “Great PJ” in subject and in the note give me 1 to 5 thumbs (notes can only take 5 thumbs per time, but you can send more than 1 note if you wish) of photos from the photojournalism gallery that you deem great. Only the best of the best (remember that collections game from last summer?) will make it to the collection, so we truly have the GREAT Photojournalism of dA in there!

Regarding “standards to meet” just take a peek at the collection and if you think the photo you want to suggest for it is of the same photojournalistic value (or even better: higher) then please do send me that in a note!

Oh, and you can suggest yourself, but if you do you can only do it once a year.

There will also be a monthly shoutboard feature with one thumb (big) from this collection. A poll will be made with a selection of 10 works from that collection, chosen by me and my partner in crime, ^estudio (err... bonnie? can it be? ahah! this was a spur of the moment thing and my battery is low and I want to post now!... ) - the work with the most votes wins the right to be in my shoutboard for a whole month.


Your community, your choice. Our community, Our collection!


It is our community, so why don’t we have our collection? It is up to you, now, to make this dream come true, to help build awareness and projection, to help promote our Photojournalist deviants and, above all, the Great Photojournalism!

Wrap up Mime Nude Contest - contest ends december 20, so I figure by the end of the year it will be wrapped up.
