What did I do to deserve this?

2004-2005:
Got in University of Coimbra. Joined a house of +4 girls. One of them was a mess. Histerycal. Agressive. Cleaning-obsessed. It was a nightmare living with her.

2005-2006:
Left that house. Got into another house with +2 girls. They were nice, but really really spoiled. They never cleaned up anything. I had to clean the kitchen stuff they used in order to have something to cook in - more than one time. If I said anything in order for them to clean up after themselves they would pout and just act like brats and the environment at home was getting worse over the time. They left.

2006-2007:
New House-Mates (4). 2 of them didn't cleaned up after themselves (damn, this is becoming repetitive. I'm no cleaning freak, but the least they could do was to take off their hairs from the bath tub after they wash themselves, no?) which started to cause some friction in the house ambiance because another of them was... guess what? a cleaning freak! The 4th one was more like me, but had to leave the house because it was too far away from her study department (she had to get up at 6am when her classes were only at 9!). The 2 non-cleaning ones left, too. SOOOO... I got stuck with the cleaning-freak for the next year. If it were only that it would be fine, but... she was a real pain in the ass! You remember that "house-Mate from hell" I was ranting about some months ago? It's her!

2007-2008:
House-Mate from Hell + a girl who rarely was at home + a really calm girl who only left this last summer because she graduated.
Apart me being fed up of living with the "house-mate from hell" (whose stories some of you are kinda familiarized with), the ambiance at home started to not be so much good since the boyfriend of the "girl who rarely was at home" broke the door. It all ended in much drama with her parents who thought her girl was an "innocent princess who was always at home" when she in fact wasn't - and when she in fact lied to them saying the stuff she had to pay for the house (light, gas, cable, etc) were more, much more expensive than they really were in reality. It ended up with their parents calling me and my mother a leech when in fact it was their daughter who was lying to them about prices, so she could use the remaining money to go to the movies with her boyfriend, etc.

2008-2009:
House-Mate from Hell + that really calm girl who only left this last summer because she graduated + another calm girl who left because she changed city
Nothing new that most of you don't know about already, really. Except that I had to send the Hell girl away. I was really fed up with her and her attitude.

2009/2010:
New House Mates!!! Yay!
One is very cool and is friend of mine from anthropology. we are very similar in ways of living, too. I'm very happy to be living with her!

Other is cool too, but more of a calm girl. Also nothing to complaint here.

The third. Gosh the third... doesn't clean up after herself. But that's not the worse! She brings up people to sleep and take baths there without a warning. One of us already got frightened once because one of her friends was sleeping in the hall. But that is not the worst.

The worst is what she did yesterday:

She forgot her house keys inside the house. Now, this usually wouldn't be a problem if yesterday wasn't the beggining of holidays. We all left Coimbra yesterday. So, she found herself in Coimbra without her keys and did she do? Called me saying I was indecent because some other girl closed the door with the key!

WHAT THA FUCK??? - I don't have a car, nor trains, etc. after 7pm in my lil' hometown!

She was also demanding that I got my ass immediately in Coimbra, that IT was my OBLIGATION to do so, to open her the door.

WHAT THA FUCK??? - MY OBLIGATION? How? Am I her babysitter?

HER MOTHER told my mother that if we weren't there to open it for her kid (read: "little princess who fucked up because she forgot the keys inside") that she was going there and bust the door and THAT - and I quote - «you are a very mean person and will meet hell for this!»

WHAT THA FUCK???

I called another house-mate of ours (that has a car) to see if she could help and arranged a fix: she would go there and open the door to the "fucked up princess" the next day at 9am. Meanwhile the princess would have to sleep in an hotel that night.

When my mother transmitted this message to her mom you know what she said?

Her mom: - My daughter is not used to go outside like yours must be. She doesn't know any hotel!
My mom: - Well, mine neither, or are you implying that my daughter is a slut?



You know... the funny thing is... that this "princess" is a girl that never stops at home much! She rarely sleeps at home, is going to clubs, house of other ppl, etc a lot... She tells her mother that she is going to sleep and then she shuts her cellphone off and goes out clubbing, whatever she does, I don't care...

These people... Really!


Now, what on earth did I do to deserve this bad luck? There isn't one single year without drama with a house mate!

My last journal was made in 17 Nov, and now it's 11 december! *faints* T'is a record!
So... missed me much?


Last month in a nutshell:

Got a virus in my pc that had me computerless for a week. In that week I had a DD and my bday and 2 plays to shoot nevertheless! D:

Had a fine bday! Thanks for all the wishes! <3
Got a HUGE print from =hoshq (thank you, it's in my bedroom's wall right now, next to my bed, so I stare at it a LOT everyday... :> ); a lovely postcard from `feetpeet (thanks K., the doodle-caek was delicious! *nham* ); some bangles that my mother made; a cute pen drive that is inside a heart that is in a necklace (how sweet!) from my grandmother; a fluffy scarf from my brother and some money from my "step-grandfather" (that I used in the following week to make a disappearance and spend a week in Lisbon where I joined =eXcer for a coffee and spent some time with ~the-wall and his friends - it was quite an adventure! *eyes*).

Got sick in that week - and still am recovering from it - which also accounts for my general absence of the internet and lack of journals, activity, etc. in dA and my blogs.


This month:

Recovering from sickness + Have lots of deadlines to meet regarding uni papers. This means you won't be seeing me much more here this month, too! :S

Have to work in my grandmother's shop this Xmas holidays because its Xmas time and... well, its the time of the year when we make money for us to live survive until Summer. I put it in yellow because I miss being in my grandmother's shop because I get to do all sort of artsy stuff and meet artists all the time, but at the same time I should be studying for the exams of January instead of being entertained with arts and clients who want to buy yet another pack of tint, pencils, etc, etc, et cetera... </drama>

No more classes from 18.December on! Xmas is coming! I'll be HOME with mom, brother, grandmother and my uncles and aunts yet again! We'll drink Porto Wine and sing karaoke at home and... and... Holidays!!! Woooohooo!!!!


New Years Eve

Not sure if I'll pass it at home with family or somewhere outside with some friends...
Last year I spent it outside with friends and while I was all excited because it was my first reveillón outside home, it wasn't quite the experience I was expecting for. It was yet another night in Coimbra with some friends and... well, I've seen and listened some things I did not like to know. Deal with it, kid!, I know. I dealt with it. But also part of it is the feeling that this year - and prolly the next ones too - I want to spend it at home, relaxed, sober yet "slightly intoxicated" with my "functionating yet highly-dysfunctional" family in front of a nice warm fireplace...
I reserve the right to have lots of "changes of heart" till then, tho!

Thank you very much for every comment, fav and view in my latest DD, from the Cabaret series! <3 It was a neat surprise - only tainted by my inability to have access to my own pc right now (I'm using my roommate's mac but she needs it back soon) which disables me from replying like I should (want to).



Yesterday night I inserted a pen into my laptop. I immediately got a strange warning telling me it had a trojan virus. I say strange because it didn't let me make any action towards it. It just kept opening an internet page. In panic I made a reset. What was really troubling, tho, was what came afterwards: It kept giving me that black page over and over again asking me to select an option, between safe mode, normal, etc. you know, that initial page before windows loads, after a reset. It didn't matter which option I chose, it kept going to that page again, as if it was reseting over and over again. I tried f2, but nothing. It is too fast resetting again and again...

Why did this happened to me just now that I got a DD?

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate the DD, suggested by =damien-c and given by ^estudio (yay, the first one in the photojournalism category!!!), and I'm sorry that I can't reply anything for now... Just my luck, having a virus right now after years of unprotected sex... oops, not sex, surf! xD
