There are many ways and forms of rescuing, and there are also many things (either objects, persons, states of mind or feelings), that you can rescue.

You can rescue with a kiss, a look, a smile, a hug, a lil' help... You can rescue with love, friendship, comprehension and art...

you can rescue that lil' toy of yours that is old and misused, but that you'll allways keep with love. You can rescue someone just behind you; you can rescue that mental state of healthy madness; you can rescue that feeling of (to the portuguese people only) saudade, or even nostalgia, or.. anything you want or feel you need to rescue!


I've taken this photo at Serralves, in Oporto. Serralves is both a gathering of great gardens an a house museum. While taking this shot I've felt like this view was also a piece of art. Like if it was the last piece of grass in the world and, because of it, it needed to be exposed in a museum. that's why I've chosen this title.

I could also choose MEDITATION or MANTRA, because this is so clean and pure, everytime I look into it I know that I could stare at it for hours, maybe days... Like if it was my Mantra.
You know Mantra:
the point/sound where zen budists focus in order to meditate!

I also thought about calling this photo HOPE, because of the serene and calm ambience it brings me to me, but mainly because it has quite a lot of green which, at least in portugal, my country, is the color of Hope and, being white the color of peace, I could also have titled it PEACE!

so, you see... it was very hard to me to choose a title to this one. that's why I most "hate" titles. tho, I now they are important!!!

Há muitas formas de salvar algo, tal como há muito que se pode salvar.

podes salvar com um beijo, um olhar, um sorriso, um abraço, uma pequena ajuda... e ainda com amor, amizade, compreensão e arte!...

podes salvar aquele brinquedo velho e mais que usado de ir para o lixo, pois por mais que já não o uses, irás guardá-lo para sempre, com carinho; podes salvar alguém mesmo ao pé de ti, podes salvar aquela insanidade mental saudável, ou até mesmo sentimentos como saudade ou outro que tu acredites que necessita de ser salvo!

Tirei esta foto em Serralves. Serralves é uma casa-museu que fica no Porto. Tem jardins maravilhosos.
Enquanto tirava esta foto concebi este pedaço de relva como o último em cima da terra, algo raro já em extinção, e que precisasse de estar num museu, exposto simbolizando o perigo em que está a nossa mãe natureza. Foi por isso que escolhi este título, mas podia ter esolhido outros, como Mantra ou Meditação (porque me acalma e hipnotiza, pondo-me em transe), ou ainda Paz e Esperança (devido à simbologia das cores).
